Allegations for violation of municipal ordinances

Procedure for presenting allegations in sanctioning procedures. You can present allegations if you do not agree with a sanction or complaint imposed by the Local Police of El Prat de Llobregat, provided that is not related to traffic violations.

Allegations can be presented in sanctioning proceedings for:

• Infractions in matters of civility and public coexistence.
• Offences related to the possession of potentially dangerous dogs.
• Infractions provided for in Law 13/2014, of October 30, on accessibility.
• Violations of municipal ordinances, including:
  • Ordinance regulating authorizations for the occupation of public roads with terraces.
  • Ordinance on the ownership and protection of animals.
  • Ordinance regulating non-sedentary sales.
  • Ordinance for the use of the beaches of the municipality of El Prat de Llobregat.

Reduction of the amount of the penalty

The regulations provide for the following reductions:

• 20% reduction if liability is acknowledged before the resolution of the case.
• 50% reduction if the acknowledgement of responsibility is accompanied by the payment of the penalty within 15 days following notification of the complaint.
• 40% reduction if liability is acknowledged and payment is made after the initial 15 days but before the resolution of the case.

Any person, natural or legal, by themselves or through a duly accredited representative, who has been reported for violating municipal ordinances.
