Communication for filming in municipally owned public spaces

Filmings that take place in public spaces owned by the municipality (with the exception of facilities, municipal buildings and Natural Spaces) will be eligible for this regime.

What is this procedure?

The deadline for submitting this procedure is a minimum of 5 business days. It will not be considered valid if it is submitted within a shorter period.

This procedure is suitable for filming to develop in municipally owned public spaces (with the exception of municipal facilities and buildings and the Natural Spaces of the Llobregat Delta) that meet the following conditions:

1. The filming will take place between 8:00 and 22:00 hours.

2. The total number of theTeam cannot be larger than 15 people..

3. The material to be installed in public space will be a maximum of two tripods with their respective cameras.

4. Production may not interfere with the free movement of pedestrians and/or vehiclesNor may traffic closures be carried out, public transport affected or elements of the public road transformed.

5. The activity cannot interfere with another activity. previously authorized.

6. This communication is not valid in the case of the use of stage vehicles, weapons, explosives, pyrotechnics, drones or animals, during the production.

7. The filming must be within the Cases of exemption from paying taxes on activities and other occupations on public roadsYou can consult these assumptions in Fiscal Ordinance No. 14 (Tax for occupations of subsoil, land, overhangs and activity on public roads).

When processing the Communication, proof of registration of the procedure must be sent to the email address of El Prat Film Office.

All audiovisual productions that do not comply with the aforementioned conditions will be subject to a prior authorization regime. This Communication may not be used and will be required. process the corresponding permit.

Who can apply for it?

This procedure can be requested by anyone who needs it, as long as they meet, where applicable, the requirements indicated in this form.

What documentation must be submitted?

  • Liability insurance policy.
  • Latest receipt/proof of payment of the Civil Liability policy.
When the petitioner acts on behalf of the company that will carry out the audiovisual production, it is necessary to provide: 
  • Communication of the NIF (Tax Agency document) accrediting card of the petitioning company.
  • ID card of the person who grants the powers to the representative, to carry out the procedure on behalf of the company.
  • Document of assignment of powers to act on behalf of the petitioning company, in the management of the procedure

Once the application has been submitted, if it does not include the requested documentation, the City Council will require the interested person to provide the required documents, indicating that, if they do not do so, their request will be considered abandoned.

How much does it cost?

This procedure is free.

The filming communication will not be subject to a fee, and therefore, its payment will not be required as long as the production complies with the conditions that allow the filming communication procedure to be used.
