Metropolitan pass for accompanying people with disabilities

The T-metropolitan Companion Pass of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) is a title that accredits the right for a person to travel accompanied when, due to their disability, they need the assistance of another person to travel on public transport.

The pass allows the accompanying person to travel with the holder when the holder needs support for their travels. The right is associated with the holder of the pass and can only be used when traveling together with them.

The interested person must submit the application to the Metropolitan Area of ​​Barcelona (AMB), which will verify compliance with the registration and disability requirements.

For processing, the AMB may consult the necessary data with the authorization of the applicant or require the corresponding supporting documentation when necessary.

It can be requested by people who:

• Be registered in a municipality in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB).
• Have a recognized degree of disability and meet the requirements established by the AMB to enjoy the right to be accompanied while traveling on public transport.
• Have or are entitled to the T-metropolitan (Pink Card).
