Parking reservation for individual use for people with disabilities/reduced mobility

The reserved parking space for individual use for people with disabilities/reduced mobility allows people with disabilities/reduced mobility to have a parking reservation to park their vehicle exclusively as close as possible to the access or destination point.

Modalities of the reservation:

1.  Parking reservation for driver holder of a parking card
2. Parking reservation for non-driving parking card holder

Places where you can:

• Near the parking card holder's home
• Near the parking card holder's workplace
• Near the parking card holder's place of study.

Requirements:

• The applicant must be registered or have an employment contract in El Prat de Llobregat.
• The authorized vehicle must be intended for transporting a person with reduced mobility/recognized disability and must be registered at the address of the person holding the requested reservation.
• Not having a parking space owned or rented that is accessible and close to the home/workplace/study place
• If you request a reservation close to the workplace, the company must not have parking spaces for disabled workers.
• The applicant must have a valid parking card for people with disabilities for a driver or non-driver holder.
• The interested person must present the documents proving the need to use the vehicle.

Specific requirements:

a) In holders who are drivers: When the disability seriously affects the holder's mobility, and in addition regular use of the vehicle is required.

b) For non-driving holders: Reduced mobility and the need to use the vehicle must also be proven, as well as the difficulties of accompanying the holder of the reservation in transferring and, in the case of those over 18 years of age, having a degree of disability equal to or greater than 75%, which seriously affects the holder's mobility. 

Validity period:

The individual parking reservation has the same validity as the parking card. Once the parking card has expired, to request a parking reservation again, the parking card must be renewed.

People who hold parking cards for the disabled when their disability causes them serious mobility problems.

To be able to request a parking reservation for individual use for people with disabilities/reduced mobility, the applicant must: have previously obtained a parking card for a person with a disability/reduced mobility and theDocumentation proving the need to use the vehicle.

In parking reservation to be located at the workplace/study center:

- Certificate from the company/study center stating the duration of the contract, working hours and the fact that there is no parking for people with disabilities/reduced mobility.
