Consultation, information and/or copy of documents from the Municipal Archives

It is a procedure to request to see or obtain copies of documents from the Municipal Archives, provided that the law allows it.

What is this procedure?

Procedure that allows you to request and authorize the consultation and/or reproduction of documentation from the Municipal Archive, without prejudice to current legal restrictions and those that may be established for the purpose of its conservation.

Once the request has been received, the Archive will contact the applicant to arrange the consultation electronically or in person within a maximum period of 7 working days. 

Who can apply for it?

Documents containing personal data, affecting privacy and honor or other legal matters, may only be accessed by the interested party or by someone acting on behalf of the interested party. In these cases, a confidentiality commitment must be signed at the Municipal Archives.

How much does it cost?

This procedure is free.

Closed on the afternoons of Maundy Thursday and December 24th and 31st.
