What is this procedure?

Old furniture and utensils collection service is a door-to-door collection service. This service makes it easier to keep the city clean and recovers waste and introduces it into the circular economy.

The service is exclusive to individuals (not for businesses or industries). 


Objects that are collected

The service is only dedicated to the collection of furniture and household items.

They are not removed:

  • elements from construction and renovation works (glass, sanitary ware, cables, rubble, etc.),
  • the sporga of trees and private gardens,
  • specific products (fluorescents, light bulbs, paints, solvents, batteries and oils),
  • electrical and electronic appliances (replaced by new ones),
  • nor andromines that have a volume greater than 1 m³.

 All these and other waste can be taken free of charge to the Municipal Waste Disposal, within the limits of the municipal ordinance on public prices. 

How can I access the service? 

Apply online through the Electronic Office, in person at the Citizen Information and Service Office (OIAC) or by telephone by calling 934 794 544.

When making the request, you must indicate what type of furniture or utensils must be collected.


The service is carried out from Monday to Saturday.



Collection location and time:

The service starts at 7:15 am until 1:15 pm from Monday to Saturday. The day of collection is confirmed at the time of processing. The service does not confirm the collection time.

Old furniture and utensils must be left disassembled inside the entrance of your building the night before the collection day. To enter the building entrances, you will need to call the apartment of the neighbor who has requested the service.

    - If it is a single-family home, the furniture will be left next to the entrance door.

    - In the case of a narrow goal, they can exceptionally be left on the sidewalk, as long as it does not hinder pedestrians' passage (90 cm). If, in addition, the sidewalk is narrow, in a very exceptional way they must be left on the road between cars if there is parking, taking advantage of corners, squares or similar.

    - The service does not collect furniture inside homes.

    Anyone who wants to get rid of old furniture or junk.
    This service is exclusively for individuals, not for businesses or industries.
