Sant Cosme weekly market
Request for authorization to carry out non-sedentary sales at the Sant Cosme weekly market.
What is this procedure?
The non-sedentary sales activity will be carried out between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on a weekly basis (every Thursday) in the Ronda Sud of the municipality.
There are two request type:
a) Initial request for occupation of the public road for non-sedentary sales at the Sant Cosme weekly market: The selection procedure for granting new authorizations, as well as filling vacancies that may occur among those already authorized, cannot be automatic and will be carried out on a competitive basis, following a public call.
b) Request for transfer, extension or reduction, exchange, cancellation of stop and other requests.
Requirements and documentation:
a) In stop transmission: The requirements established in Article 16 of the Non-Sedentary Sales Ordinance must be met and the documentation indicated in the Documents section must be presented.
b) In expanding and reducing modules: Applications will be resolved annually. In the event of a stall being removed, the adjacent owners of the stall causing the removal have priority to expand. If the vacancy is not covered, it will be redistributed by the owners of the same row who will move up until it is covered. Extensions may be authorized at the end of the market space and, in all cases, as long as it does not affect the distribution of the rest of the stalls.
c) In exchange of stops: Interested parties and stall owners may agree to a change of location among themselves. The exchange of stalls may not affect the distribution of the rest of the stalls.
d) Eget off at the stop: The authorization may be terminated with the express and written resignation formulated by the person holding the stall.
e) In request for authorization to sell other products or change of products authorized for sale: Stall owners may request a change in the product to be sold. The City Council may authorize this change if a greater diversity of products for sale in the market is achieved.
