What is this procedure?

Health authorization that must be obtained by all establishments and facilities where tattooing, micropigmentation and/or piercing practices are carried out, whether they are permanent or for a one-time event.

Who can apply for it?

Any natural or legal person holding this activity, by themselves or through duly authorized representation.

What documentation must be submitted?

-Document proving payment of the fee through self-assessment.
- Documentation proving the training of the personnel. For each of the people indicated in the report, an ID card, a diploma from a hygienic health training course or equivalent and a Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccination certificate must be attached.
- Contract with the waste management company.
- Informed consent form.
- Descriptive report of activities and facilities.
- Plan of the establishment, to scale and with dimensions, including the location of work rooms, sterilization rooms, distribution of bunks, cabinets for equipment, cabinets for work clothes, other equipment, water points, sinks, toilets, etc.
- Location plan of the establishment for which health authorization is requested.

How much does it cost?

This procedure is not free.

You will need to consult Fiscal Ordinance number 25, which regulates the fee for providing the health authorization service.
Holders who start their activity in Spanish territory during the current year can request the exemption from payment. The conditions can be consulted in the procedure linked to this same "Tax exemption for start of activity"
