IBI - Real Estate Tax: Consultation and breakdown of receipts by co-ownership
Provide information on the Urban and/or Rural Property Tax and respond to requests for a breakdown of receipts by co-ownership of the property.
What is this procedure?
Provide information on the Urban and/or Rural Property Tax, taking into account that only the holders of each right will be able to access and request knowledge of protected data.
Protected data includes: the name, surname, company name, identification code and address of the person registered in the cadastre as the owner, as well as the cadastral value of the properties and the amount of the IBI receipt.
Assist in the management of IBI receipts in relation to requests for a breakdown of receipts corresponding to co-ownerships of real estate.
Who can apply for it?
- The owner of the property.
- Judicial authorities.
- Holders of certain rights over the property, who are not cadastral holders (the holders of bare ownership, tenants, joint tenants, etc.).
- Owners of adjoining plots, to facilitate their identification, with the exception of the cadastral value.
What documentation must be submitted?
- If the person making the query is the right holder: original NIF or NIE.
- If the applicant is not the owner of the right: original NIF/NIE of the owner of the property and the authorized person, and express authorization from the owner to the applicant.
- Tax receipt or documentation proving your right (rental contract or receipt in the event that you are a tenant, and deeds in cases where you do not match the holder of the receipt).
