Department of Education

To promote a community ecosystem that offers access to educational and cultural opportunities, resources and instruments to citizens, in the different times and spaces of everyday life; and that promotes empowerment and individual and collective autonomy from the values ​​of inclusion, equity and equal opportunities.

The general objectives of the department are: 

• Addressing the needs of schooling and training in the city, to provide educational opportunities to everyone throughout their lives and to do so with the highest educational quality.
• Create an integrated early childhood development project (educational, cultural and social) with the maximum participation of the educational community.
• Address the need for a process of social transformation of citizens that allows them to face the challenges posed by the social, cultural, economic and technological changes of today's society.
