Downtown, Cultural space

The Cèntric is a cultural facility owned by the municipality, dynamic and centrally located, which brings together different services: the Antonio Martín Library, the Municipal Archives, the Auditorium, the study rooms, the exhibition hall, a restaurant space and public parking.

It is an emblematic facility of the city, located in the geographical center of the town. It has large spaces equipped to carry out various activities: lobbies, the Auditorium, the exhibition hall, work rooms, events room, @tic room... The facility has an important public transport connection, which includes the metro. 

At Cèntric, we work from a local perspective with the aim of fostering citizen engagement and participation in the cultural field, generating spaces for knowledge, research and dialogue around culture and citizen participation. The activities carried out emphasize the promotion of access to information, the dissemination and democratization of the use of new technologies, the dissemination of non-amplified music and the promotion of the reading habit. 

The Cèntric Espai Cultural was inaugurated on December 19, 2010. It is an architectural design by Manel Brullet i Associats SL.
